Hi guys I need some help here with a mk2 motor I’m rebuilding. I just measured the chambers on the head with a Burette and it’s came in at 17mls. The head can tell it’s skimmed 80 thou , a bit on both sides.

The pistons are plus 60 thou . What model pistons are available to compensate for this to pull the CR back?

Most replacement pistons eg. Hypatec or Russell Engineering are around 9cc dish, can have this enlarged in a lathe a few cc to compensate for your problem.
Graham Russell is doing this for a friend's 1360S at the moment.
