First time I've seen one with a hole in it. I'd say an aftermarket part by someone. |

Attached are photos of original 21A1517 and new ones available today. The new one is not as thick as the original. I reinstalled the old buffer during my rebuild. It will be interesting to see if the 50 year old part outlasts the new one. I know what my money is on. |
