Yeah... but if you had a time machine you'd go back to 1900 and put a few pennies in a bank, then go forward to 1965 and buy the Ferrari, then go forward to 1995 and buy Amazon shares.... and maybe even jump to 2004 and buy some Bitcoin.... |

Careful what you wish for...in the 70s, you could not give a V8 car away, petrol rationing, odd and even number plate days, kilometre long queues outside service stations, people died (from over exhaustion from pushing cars, and I remember one tragic case where a fella was crushed between his car door and a petrol bowser)...etc etc https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1970s_energy_crisis |
