Been rebuilding my rack and found a broken wave washer. Now I need to put oil back in.

1. Is this oil Ok?
2. Do I need to put half in one boot and the other half in the other boot?

Fit the LH boot. Have rack centred.
Put it in a vice with the RH end up.
Pour in 200ml of 85/140 gear oil.
Fit the RH boot.

I had a lot of problems getting a good enough seal on the large end of the boots on mine. Refitted multiple times as they kept dripping, didnt matter how tight the ties were. End up using some gasket sealant, filing down imperfections etc. I used 90 gearbox oil as thats what i had at hand, but would go a thicker oil if i ever have to pull that damn thing out again.

Cam Gears the makers, used 140 grade or heavier.
'Diecast' on here was an engineer there back then.
90 works but it's a bit light.
I used 90/140 LSD or 85/140 LSD on the many I have rebuilt.
