i was also told to rubber mount it so to stop or minamise any reaction between alloy and normal steel...

Would rubber mounting it, then bolting a bit of magnesium stop the aluminum corroding? So if the current does travel the magnesium will corrode before the aluminium?

They are rubber mounted as is, two grommets on top and two on the bottom isolate the radiator from the engine, as does the hoses. You would only need to pay attention to the top and bottom gaps where the plates bolt onto the cowling to be sure of this (perhaps insert a full width rubber strip in between?).

and don't worry about going to china and taking them to court over it.
This is just another little chinese scam. They are doing it on other car parts as well. I know of some other blokes that have been ripped off with other parts they are supposedly selling.
If you used a credit card to pay just be CAREFUL and check

Just a little addition. I am consantly getting emails from these blokes via my website offering all sorts of preformance products for cars.
I know of a bloke who bought some 4 piston calipers and rotors to suit a honda integra. I also recieved the same ad and they even used pics of Willwood brakes. This bloke did eventually got his brakes, but the rotors were not even cast properly and had cracks thru the center vents, and the calipers were not much better than cheap diecast.
I think it is the same mob that is advertising inter coolers and radiators for other cars.

If you guys are getting your money back then you are lucky. A lesson learnt!!!!!!
If you want alloy radiators then get one locally. There is a company in vic that makes custom alloy radiators and one to suit a mini is around $300. but they are WELL made.
Or get one out of a small jap car.
