Yes, I bought it from Leacy Classics.
Thanks for the link to the stickers, now I have to decide which....!

Or if you want the retro Mountney one I'll go halves with you? (They come as a pair)

Nah sorry, does nothing for me. I'm tossing up between the BMC Rosette, Cooper, or use my MG one. The Leyland one I have looks boring, and my Matic pre-dates Leyland anyway.

I can get you a photo of the BMC and MG ones on my wheel. IMO the MG one looks a bit funny with the white edge on it

I will use the MG one. It looks good. The M stands for `Morris' anyway. :)
[edit] I don't mind the BMC rosette, but after looking at the silly price Minisport charges to post a sticker, I'll not buy one there unless there's something else I need.

BTW, my wheel has the black spokes. The plated Phillips head M5 screws supplied looked cheap, so I replaced them with M5x20 black button head socket capscrews and Nyloc nuts. Looks classier now.

My wheel came with an extra outer ring and countersuck allen head bolts. The boss kit had ugly bolts. I emailed minisport and minirichs and they said they could post for stamp cost. I got mine from minirich for under $6

Here's mine-
The new tacho is an AutoGage (by AutoMeter). Is 1/2 the price of the Smiths one.

[edit] Today I did some horse trading with Laingy, so now he has a Leyland badge, and I have a Morris one with da bull on it. :)

Yesterday, rear hubs off, studs replaced back on, stepped drums on and a quick spin. readjusted the rear shoes and went for a drive.

Drove it out of the shed ,washed it , polished it , told myself to finish it ,

Pulled it out of the shed so I could get the Scott Bonnar mower out. Took photos of the mower for the eBay advert then put everything away again. Furthest the mini has travelled in yonks.

Did an oil change - How crap is Castrol GTX 20W50 ?
I have been using Valvoline XLD with no issues. But the last time I was at the shop they had a sale on GTX 20W50.
$10 for 5L - why not give it a go I said? My oil pressure has dropped 20psi when hot and the drop gears are rattling at idle.
Oh well - Ill just call it a $10 engine flush.

I didn't realise how much XLD I'd bought. I must have bought 2 every time I've been in the shop for the last year and I found it all when organising the garage this morning!

I had a look through my oils and the only 20w50 I had was Gulf Western. Put that in my pressures have gone back to nearly the same as XLD classic.
