Ha! That's very interesting. My cars exterior was repainted by a prev owner back in the early 90s. It's more red like the original Burgundy. I can see the difference between the original interior and exterior on my car and it's similar to what is shown here.

Here's a couple of my Feb 1962 Morris 850 in its original paint "Chartreuse." It's has a few paint patches over the years, but the original paint still polishes up nicely.
