It got locked in the garage by the wife for raiding the food on the kitchen bench.
Bastard cat.

Not sure who would come off second best in our house? The cat or the wife for locking the cat in with the windows open

Been a few weeks, so I thought I'd better buy another Mini this morning.

… this time a project car to slowly restore back to its former 1960 glory. This 850 is, by the way, reputedly something a little special that I can't believe didn't get more attention either when it first popped up on eBay 10 days ago or at the auction end this morning?

Even more a happy bunny now.

Decided I would change the wheel bearing on my moke.

The Drive Flange was seized to the CV and took a severe smashing with a hammer and rear of the block-buster to remove the CV. Removed Bearings and now needs to be reassembled with new CV and bearings.

Went for a drive in the Sunday sun, home via M2 to Kings Langley to join the convoy then M7 to Picton road, down to Mt Keira to join MITG, then back up the hill, what a great road :), across to Picton via many different back roads. Stop at Picton then via back roads to Narellan then onto Liverpool, M7, M2 and back home. Around 250km of Supercharged fun... :)

Finally got the engine all plumbed in, wired up and primed for firing tomorrow. Nerves are starting to set in how the new gearbox is going to go! T Minus 12ish hours!

Stuck on the Mornington Penisula, so picked up a pair of sliding window doors complete.

These will replace the later windups on the 997 Cooper .

Oh Yus!

This morning I went to drive to work at per usual, but the Mini would have none of it... not a single sound when i turned the key.

so I took the Territory.

When i got home a few minutes ago... i opened the boot, jiggled the battery cables....

she started up fine.

I guess I didn't hold my tongue in the correct position this morning?
