Caught up with John Leffler today. Has some great stories about minis from the past, really wish he would get them written down!
Should have my hubs/wheel bearings etc all together soon by leffo. Another step closer

Went to Minisport UK yesterday. Took a selfie out the front and bought some parts for my Mini K resto :)
Also went to Minitastic and got a couple of fast road coil kits. Couldn't see any Minis there but this freshly built Formula 2 race car was nice!!

A member here had his Cooper S develop a very nasty noise on overrun, it sounded real bad.
With engine removed from box it turned out that the 18T diff pinion has a toothache, it has 1-1/2 chipped teeth. At least the motor & the rest of the box is OK... :)

Didn't do anything to the minis but I picked up my 1275 head for the van that has been out getting stripped and soda blasted.
I don't wanna unwrap it and get it dirty!

Can't wait to get it ported and polished with some BIG valves!

I have been building bits and pieces in the garage thanks to the how-to section, awesome threads in there.
