Put the last few pieces on and then loaded it on the trailer, off for the Roadworthy certificate tomorrow (hopefully).

Congrats ian.

Today I drove up a hill without changing gears!

It's still standing! And rated to 1200kg by Aussie standards.

It's only for working on the hubs.

I've been in more dangerous positions!!!!

Have you seen how many times Supercheap has had recalls on jacks and stands?

I'd rather spend 24.99 at gasweld on welding rods and make a set me self

See your point but that would suggest that you have a modicum of welding talent. That's where the plan falls down for me I am afraid.

Big day! Car has been under a tarp in the garage for nearly 3 years. Pulled tarp off and started stripping car for resto! Used to drive it every day to work and I have been missing it but built a new house in the mean time. It came off the road due to too much smoke. I think an engine rebuild is going to become a complete car rebuild. Might start a build thread. Complete amateur non tradesman so will be seeking lots of advice on here. Cheers.

Some bloke in his 4wd towing his boat thought it would be nice to rearrange my windscreen with a rock.n
Punched a little hole in it and glass everywhere inside.
Drove home as it is. Looks like I need to find me a new laminated one!

Never fun doing 100kph and your windscreen shattering in your face.
Few little cuts on my hands but other than that I'm ok!!

Cheers, Rhys

Gave my little rat a service and tune. Tightened wheel bearings then spoilt her too a bonnet scoop and flares...
