Got my new banjo seals today for the fuel pump fitted them up tested it out seals a treat. Although now I can see a pin hole leak in one of the banjos that I couldn't see before oh well the seals work... Time for new banjos.

Mini was grumpy this morning, didn't want to start.
I ended up having the use a clamp under the bonnet to hold the choke open while I started the car, then once it was going, take the clamp off and close the bonnet.

perhaps I should have brought the clamp with me in case it doesn't start when i finish work... oh well...

Makes the boot seem too tidy, better chuck a couple of spanners a few rags a bottle of oil and water in there for decoration.

Seriously though nice job

Great days work Boomini.

I sorted out the parts from my new mini everything was all in random boxes wth no order what so ever. The wifes face was priceless when she came in the shed and the were parts everywhere.

Also caught up with Watto and gave him some bits for the sh@@box rally car and a few spares for him.

Bought a 2kg spool of 1.0mm aluminium 5356 MIG wire. Now I can MIG weld some alloy if I need to :D (yes I know TIG is nicer but I've welded lots of alloy years ago with MIG)

Motor still fits in its hole. No welding of nuts to mounts (no gas in bottle) it went in without a fight
