I removed my knackered harmonic balancer last night.
Not only is the keyway flogged, the rubber is stuffed too!

Minis are off the menu. MOKE time. repairing the buchered job someone did trying to remove the side panel to get the fuel tank out. They did not look under- neath to see that there was a panel that unbolted to remove it :x :x :x

Worked late.

Last night I checked out how the body kit might fit and decided all of the stories and comments are sadly true.
Looks like a major project just to fit the body kit after all of the rust and dents are fixed and the new front guards have been fitted.

Pulled a HIF44 down to build it up for Scrapper2's motor. Which will go on the engine dyno just after hay. Looking forward to seeing where it comes up.

Got some carpet, cut it to fit the boot floor all the way up the boot lid. Then took it back to the supplier to have the edge stitched. 8)

I had to assemble it on the ground to know where all the bits went.
some pieces look the same left to right but don't fit.
And there isn't enough room in the car to muck around.
It has been in the car once before...
