Assembled the starter motor after the paint had dried
Stripped the bright green paint off the hinge the Doc sent me and cleaned up my good one and gave both a coat of etch primer.
Made up some zinc electroplating solution but the things I want to plate are showing signs of being greasy so I'll have to soak overnight in some degreaser and try tomorrow.
Had the local brake place put a bubble flare on each end of a short piece of brake pipe to go between the T piece on the firewall and the brake switch connection on the sub frame - was just about to bend it to shape and realised the sub frame is still in the lowered postion as I haven't put the steering rack back

I picked up my rebuilt generator from the shop and I bolted it back in the car. Did not have much time to work on the car today.

I went to take some pics too, and the lithium ion battery went dead. Not to worry, I carry 2 x AA lithiums just in case!! :P

FINALLY got BC back on the road!!!

Changed the points, condensor and coil and all good. Just some tweaking needed as it's missing at around 4k. Something about that number and misses!

:D

maybe not just today, but in the last few weeks I have deseamed the passangers rear quarter, bought new apron, fitted front stepped drums, and possibly sourced out a stroked 998. May deseam drivers rear quarter today. Deseaming is such a long slow process!
