Don't think they will update the software you can't even buy the black box from them anymore according to their website. Maybe they have a new unit coming out be nice if it was Bluetooth, live so you could map it like a dunno and could be adjusted on the fly.

I am such a nerd my wife hates when I walk into a tech store and ask for stuff as the answer is normally " that's a great idea but they don't do that yet "

I was going to suggest the same thing. So many older laptops are being trashed as technology moves on at a rapid pace. Having an obselete machine in the garage for this purpose is now a sensible and inexpensive option.

Of course you'd need a browser and network connection so you can also stay in touch on Ausmini. :D

Any instructions?
I've been sending these as pdf to some recent customers who got none.

The new Stealth Kits I have just received are the same. Nothing has changed.

Hi Convertible,

You owe me some commission haha!

PS For those of you about to install, just stick the floppy into an old computer and copy the stealth .exe file to a USB stick. Easy peasy...

Cheers

Michael

So, are you saying the .exe file will execute OK under all later versions of Windows, not just XP?

I believe it works on XP, Windows 7 and 8. Don't know about Win 10...

thread revival, I contacted Accuspark asking if the blackbox will ever get an update to work with more current operating systems and they replied saying No, and that the unit has been discontinued. luckily ive sourced an old laptop still running XP!

What is involved in fitting these to the A+ electronic distributor to get a different advance curve?

It will work with just about any conventional distributor using an electronic module. I know of 2 running fine with a Nissan pulsar dizzy.

It is amazing how easy they are to set up when one reads instructions and does not take anything for granted . When playing with electronics you do not take chances do all necessary tests first as suggested. Electronics blow quicker than a fuse when incorrectly connected. You will not get a second chance. Gone are the days playing with springs and weights and spending costly labour hours to get a good advance curve that suits your engine. These Stealth Boxes are the go. I am not the only one that likes them many people agree with me.
