What sort of reputation did they have doc? And supercooper it most definitely is a 1275 head..... I'd like to know why you say it doesn't look like one? All you need to do is look at the distance between the thermostat housing and the rapper cover to notice the difference to a small bore without checking numbers.

Could be wrong but Thermostat end doesnt look right for a 1275 imo.

Head has pollution ports on front.

It is a 1275 head. The angle of the heater outlet changes and the position of the thermostat housing bolts also change from small bore to big bore. Not saying its a 1275 engine because you can fit a 1275 head on a small bore engine.
