Evening all.

When I put these strips on my 850 we set up a piece of roofing iron in the yard and fitted the strips onto the edges and left them there for the best part of a week. When they were removed they were as straight as and went on the car with very little fuss. Helps that I am in Sunny Qld and the days do get quite warm. As others have said approach carefully and be patient. This method worked for me and is worth a think about. John K.

My question regarding all of this is, in regards to clubman chrome strip and the rivets to attach it to the body, what is the factory positions for the rivets and what size rivets should be used? Should they go through the top of the chrome moulding and the body only, being covered underneath by the underside of the chrome moulding?
