I've read that the longer arm type mirrors are alot easier to adjust than the standard bullets.

The standard bullets were designed as wing mirrors, but who would do that to a Mini. On a 1960s Datsun Bluebird, maybe...

I thought they were designed for minis so when idiots tip them over on its side, the bullet mirrors hold up the whole car !
(Talking from first hand experience)

Hmm that really sucks :? Well I've been told once that there's different quality bullet mirrors out there. Didn't really think that there would be a big difference but maybe you got the "bad" ones

Worst scenario would be either to take them off or just work with the "over the shoulder" and the review

i can't see a thing outta my bullet mirrr, it is only there cause i have to ave one, and it looks cool (cost my 4 pound in england, about $10 here). i usually (usually? always!) turn my head if i wanna see if something is there.

because i don' use it i don't notice it getting dirty which is a it f a give way.

On the subject of "quality" bullet mirrors - how do you know what you are getting for your money? I've heard of some that rust while you look at them and others that cost an arm and a leg. Are there barnds to look out for either way?

on sliding window doors i've seen people in the uk weld plates of steel to the furthermost part of the door (triangled part of the sliding window setup) and mount them to that, for better height viewing. as somebody said before maybe fitting them to the chrome triangle part of the 1/4vent part, maybe the go, and you wouldnt have to drill your door skin either.
i'll probly end up going for those clip on mirrors on my 850

If you buy the Karcraft ones, (I have 2) they are a chromed brass case. Unlike some 3rd world ones that rust by next morning..... :x

This spot works well. Just needs to be varied a little for different people.
