I've always thought there would be a market for a plastic right hand tank. It's not for people doing a resto on a genuine Cooper S or GT. It's for people who want there Mini to be a more practical means of transportation!

RH tanks are pretty hard to come by in NZ, but I think even that one is a bit steep.

I'm coming to Sydney on Monday for work and would pay $400 cash for a good tank if someone has one for sale and can meet me in Parramatta on Mon night.

Please PM me if you have a Rh tank for sale

There is someone here in Qld - been mentioned here one this Forum in relation to other matters and some of you have purchased from him - has the mould and is playing around with the gear to get the thing to tumble at the right spead to get an even spread of the heated plastic. When perfected he will be selling them on eBay.

How do you go with certification though? I mean even 10 dollar jerry cans have a very large sticker on the side of them detailing their certification?
