The "modify your mini" book is similar, yet slightly different to "tuning the a-series" because it covers some body and suspension modifications aswell as the a-series mods.

But as mentioned, if you are after information about supercharging, go for the book by Corky Bell called "Supercharged!" Not cheap at around $70, but has lotsa lotsa information. Vizard only covers this topic briefly.

I know , it's a bit of a reviving the dead but was doing some cleaning and sorting today and got the specific mini books out of the bookcase that's threatening to collapse so took some pics of them .

The kids books , all 8 of the "Maurice the Mini Minor" set , "Roger's cooper s" (Australian) , "Speedy the mini" , "people at work" which shows all the stages of a mini being built and "Narrow squeaks" with a story of a mini dropping over a cliff .

Image

"The Amazing mini" by Peter Filby including a first edition , "Mini" by Rob Golding , the 25 year updated copy and the 30 year updated copy , "The mini story" by Laurence Pomeroy and foreword by Alec Issigonis (This is regarded as the mini bible by people in the know) and "The works mini's" by Peter Browning (this book and the mini story have provided all the photo's in nearly every other mini book that cover history or racing ...) .

Image

"Essential mini cooper" , "Metro" , "Mini Moke" , "Practiacl classics on mini cooper restoration" , "Mini muscle cars" , "Mini Anthology , the launch of a legend" and "Classic British cars" .

Image

"Tuning the mini " , "More tuning the mini" and "Building and racing an 850 mini" all by Clive Trickey , "Rallying and Autocross" by Olympic Tyres , "How to start Rallycross" by Peter Noad , "The mini" by John Pressnell , "Austin 7 850" by the Sunday Times and "How to get more from your car , Mini Minor" , a wheels publication .

Image

"Spotlight on mini minor downunder" , "Don't Kiss me , it's very terrible" by John and Carys Pollard , "Eurasian Moke" by Albert Laing , "Journeys with Gelignite Jack" by Evan Green (figure 8 trip around and across Australia by a mini deluxe and an Austin 1800 as a joint test of the cars and Castrol XL oil ) and "Issigonis" by Gillian Bardsley .

Image

"Jack Brabhams car care cards" , "service your own - Mini"

Image

"The book of the BMC Mini's" by Staton Abbey , "Leyland guide to body replacement parts " , "Lockheed service manual , as fitted to the morris "Mini-minor" and Austin 7" , "Servicing British Leyland Fuel Systems" by TJM , "BMC Body repair manual" for the 850 van with sliding windows and the "Leyland Australia mini-moke parts catalogue" .

I'm not counting the other books with mini's featuring in them , or all the workshop manuals in this lot either , plus there's a few more books somewhere I just can't put my hands on yet .....
