I would certainly recomend modifying the cobra frames if you get them. I had mine in for a year or so and noticed that my seat position was changing. After inspection i noticed the rear posts (which only had plastic feat) had cracked through the floor pan.

To fix I welded a peice of 30mm box section between the two posts to spread the load evenly. I have now drilled and bolted through this to the floor. Works a treat.

As far as seats go I would go to a mitsubishi or proton wreckers and try and get some seats out a GSR or proton satria. (like i did) if you are lucky you could get the back seats too, giving you more than enough fabric to cover the mini back seats. (something i still have to do.) but the recaro seats are nice firm hugging seats and look the part too.
