Indeed the position of the bracket part AYA5162 is shown on the pedal box assembly drawing AYA5160.

It is positioned partly across one of the 1 5/8" diameter holes in the side of the box and arc welded along the two edges that are not in mid-air in the hole (welding signified by the row of x'es).

I don't remember the big hole in the way of mounting it, but my home made bracket is bigger. I'll try and get a pic tomorrow.

I fitted a standard replacement brake switch above the brake pedal. The switch is OFF when depressed and ON when the brake pedal moves down (the opposite of a normal switch). The switch is large and needed a large angled bracket and solid bolts. I used a right angled drill holder to drill the mounting holes; it took hours, upside down under the steering wheel. As the switch only carries about 20mA to switch on the relay I should have used a much smaller lever switch which would have been much easier to mount.
