ahh, I see - autos are black magic to me sorry... no motion in either direction and the torque converter bolts loose would point to something amiss with the converter - oil not being where it is meant to be, perhaps a previous owner had a problem gave up on it

Matt Read @ Readspeed in Bris might be able to help, or Greig Malure @ mini classic in Sydney is an auto guru and may advise over the phone

I am going to go see Matt tomorrow, I am a regular there. I always find things to confuse him about.
