Looks nice Ian.

As an update, I ended up going with the BMC colour called Snowberry White. It's got a very slight green tinge to it. The body itself is a hybrid I made up. I wanted something a bit brighter than the original Saxon Green but still something that looks like a 1960's colour.
One thing I found when picking colours is that they look totally different inside a shed, outside in the shade and in the sun.

A few pics of where I'm up to.

Rocky

And here's one back at home with the wheels in place to see how it will look. :D :D

Thanks Hewey - I'm looking forward to getting everything re-assembled and get it on the road.

My first Mini (bought new) was a 63 850 in Nurberg White with Caramel/Yellow upholstery.
So if you want the period colour then Nurberg White it is.

My MK1 S is GTO Green with a Snow White roof. It has a bit of a greenish hue but that may be because the white roofs were sprayed over the body colour. The whole car was painted in body colour and then the roof colour was sprayed over the body colour.

Hey Ron I didn't know they painted the whole lot in body colour and then painted the roof but it does make sense as I reckon that's how EH Holdens were done as well.

My roof was painted before the body and then masked up when the body was done.

It’s amazing how the snowberry looks green with the grey undercoat, but white with the Saxon green.

Looks the nuts though.

Wonder if there’s a white with a touch of blue to go with my Araluen Blue when I get that far in about 2065 :D 8)
