Hi,

I have a 1976 mini and I would like to put original front seats back in. I'm not sure whether it should have the 1-piece high back seats or should it be the separate head rest. I know the 77 is definitely high backs but was trying to work out the exact seats I should have.

Manufacture date is 10/76 and I think it is an EPA 998 (021D2S1M09)

The 76 clubman I have here came with single piece highbacks but whether they were original I cannot say. They do look like the origi als tho'.
The 73 had seperate headrests.

The 1976 Mini 021 was still using the same 2 piece front seats as the previous years. I have pics of two unrestored 11/76 cars with these seats so your 10/76 would be the same

The 1977 Mini 021 changed to this style

The 1976 Mini S 022 used the 1 piece but they had cloth inserts.

This has been on eBay for a while, is it the type you’re looking for?
