Going by this document (Stage 4 ) the brake master was reduced to 0.625" at car 2057. viewtopic.php?f=49&t=92146

Go for a Cooper S brake master cylinder. )0.7" bore and the larger/taller tank. Pretty sure you won't find a 0.625 master easily. To improve braking on the 997cc Cooper you can modify the calipers (simple machinig exercise) to accept the 998cc disk pads which are of greater size and still available from EBC.

Ideally you need the 0.7" cylinder with the larger/taller reservoir can as per the Cooper S. Use the 0.75" cylinders for the clutch.

The seal kits for the master cylinders are very cheap, might be worth stripping it down and checking them before you install them.

You’d hate to install them and then find they don’t work
