I can't remember which brand of battery was in my mini K in 1969 but do remember it was a 3/4 sized battery that needed a metal spacer piece to pack out the battery so the retaining clamps could work properly. The box itself was big enough to take a normal-sized battery when time came for a replacement.
Tyres were Olympic 'Air Ride' cross plies and there was an Olympic Rubber factory next door to BMC at Zetland, so they may have supplied batteries too.
But like paint brands, BMC may have sourced from several companies.

The Mk1 range had a full size Lucas battery. The MK2 range went to a smaller battery with spacer. The brochures say it was a 40 amp/hr @ 20hr rate but no mention of model or part number.

Sometimes there was a battery check/receipt and this was placed into the passport to service. I will go through my photos and see if I can find a part number.

Maybe someone can check their parts book and see if it lists a make and part number.

The parts books don't mention the battery or tyres by part number.
