Oil inside flywheel got onto clutch plate. Clutch was slipping.
It's a minispares race flywheel, 1330 S motor running a 45 Weber.
Road car. Motor has done around 20K km. It's not smoky.

Clutch oil seal is dry, no oil running down from it.

Questions:
1. Why don't these race flywheels have the 3 drainage holes like both 1 piece and 2 piece standard flywheels do?
We're considering drilling the flywheel hub.

2. Why is it so wet anyway? Primary gear bushes don't seem worn.
Crankcase pressure maybe? It only has the stock S breather can, with a filter on it. No PCV system as Weber people don't believe in them.
I think it may need more breathers..

mine does that too - same flywheel... clutch doesn't slip so I just ignore it

I put it down to too much crankcase pressure

Where does it come out of? I have some drips but no slip

If I go very quiet there's a very good chance I broke something.

Eventually it makes it to the split pin hole in the bottom of the flywheel housing.
There's not a lot of oil, but enough to make it slip.
Diaphragm is an orange dot, spring was flat when I assembled it. Like mine.
Flywheel and clutch were new around 5000 km ago.

Clutch plate looks near new after degreaser, rinse and hot air gun.
