No gearbox issues here so far, touch wood (rod change 3.44 diff on 12 x 5.5 wheels).
My stock head and cam + 15psi may equate to a similar output to your 9psi with high flow and charge cooling.
Do you have a 1/4 mile time at all? I use the Drag Racer app.

Yeah needed engine and gearbox rebuild. Back in the road last weekend. I had 2.9 diff but during rebuild switched it to 3.2. Rod change. On 10s
3.44 plus open diff would in some ways be better, for durability. I had 2.9 diff with ATB diff, plus super sticky tires A032Rs. Asking a lot of the box. Whereas if open diff and spinning wheel, the wheel would slip before too much strain is on box.
Not sure on 1/4 mile times...will have to check, maybe I'll do that at some stage
