I purchased a lynx manifold online similar to this, thinking it would fit a HS6. When it arrived, I measured the inlet and it's much smaller than 1.75", it was closer to 1.25" to suit a HS2...

Is the manifold shown here the same casting but just ported to suit a HS6? Or are they a different beast?: http://www.ausmini.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=87235

no, you're looking at the same manifold, just bored and ported to suit the bigger carb. A lot of effort to go to when you can buy an excellent flowing 1 3/4" manifold for under $100 even from the most expensive mini shops.

This is a manifold I have, do not know how old it is. have had it a long time, 20 years plus at least.
can be drilled for 1 1/4, 1 1/2, 1 3/4. not for sale, just putting the info out there.
I have seen a few pop up for sale.

I would say that that manifold is about 50 year old 8)

But the photo doesn't show the inlet configuration... oh well... time to whip out the die grinder
