The shafts I have have wear in the arrowed sections and replacements are no longer available. I don't think replacing the bushes will take up the slack.

Is there a solution to repairing the arrowed wear?

How much wear? Have you measured with a micrometer?

Probably find a good 2nd hand set if they are to bad.

Hard chrome and regrind to size. Or get it metal sprayed and machined, should be cheaper.
Where the ball at the bottom wears flats I have hardfaced with toolcraft electrode and sanded to fit.

They have to be fairly well worn to be no good. Have you checked buses they run in, you might be able to fit longer ones to miss the worn bit. If you want to save them then a bit of brazing or mig weld then lathe back to size. They only move a bit, so that would suffice.
