This is a timely thread. I have an 1100s block with sleeves in all 4 holes.
I'm not surprised others have written that they see very little wear. I gave it a quick hone to clean it up and the bores were very hard.
This one should really go to +0.060", but after reading above, it sounds like this may not be a good idea.
The sleeves are very thin where they protrude into the crankcase below. They could have a step at the bottom, but I doubt it...

Yes mine are all sleeved and standard bore with little wear Seems like a good block for a 1293 supercharged down the track .Next car maybe.:)

Can anyone confirm if it's safe to take these to 0.060" over?
My 0.040" oversize bore is a bit average. I'd like to go 0.060", but can live with it as is if +060 isn't an option.

My mate has an SC12 on an engine from years ago.It will be a very good one
The pussy doesnt want to separate it from its engine .It may sit in his shed till he goes to aged care with me.
