I f you want an oil light just put a 1/8 BSP tee in the block where the oil gauge line screws in. And add a switch.

The standard warning light comes on at under 10psi (some places quote 7psi) so by the time the light comes on you've done the damage anyway..

You can also get a competition switch, it comes on below 22? psi.
But even the standard one is better than nothing, in Minis with no gauge.
