On remote gearbox which is the correct fitment of the change shaft lever. Does the male lever attach to the
Shaft that goes into the gearbox and the female on the the shaft on through the diff housing.

I have always connected the male to the gearbox shaft. I searched the net and came up with both options or doesn't matter

Thanks in advance

To quote a friend who explained this linkage to me (I had it the wrong way round): 'the female always drives".
