2S5 is MK 2 Minimatic. However prefix should be YA not YG as they are all 998.
They stuffed the compliance plates up, mine is stamped YG and radiator shroud stamped YA.

The car is a 69 model no id or adr plate , yg2S5 stamped on the radiator cowling then 4 numbers. It has 3 numbers stamped in the gutter above the wiper motor next to the M/05 code. Wiper motor has 6/69. Engine has 1000 plate on the back.

Should be YA not YG. If they had used the 1098 auto it would be YG. But they didn't.
I also had a '69, it was stamped YA2S5 same as my 1970 car is.
