Has anybody fitted the Autotecnica low back bucket seats?

I'm eyeing off a pair of these plus a pair of the cobra rails, with the plans to make the cobra rails fit the autotecnica seats, to get me a pair of brand new low back bucket seats for ~~$800.

Can anybody steer me either way with this idea?

Remember you can only put Low Back seats in a Car that was produced with Low Backs. Not in a Leyland Mini. ADR issue.

I'd make a $50 bet that they'd be horribly uncomfortable!

That's my suspicion.
I'd rather spend the extra 500 or so and get cobras if they're going to be rubbish

Cobras are OK new, but the foam inside is crap. When old it turns to yellow powder, whether in the car or still a showroom.
I recently got mine stripped and re-padded. Nice now. :)

The 2nd thread was where I got the idea of using the cobra rails from

The first thread was where I realised some people may have actually tried the autotecnica seats and thought I'd ask for some more opinions.

It will only take one more positive review for me to buy them lol

I wonder if my local auto stores stock the autotecnica ones in store...
