Hi everyone, I have done this a few times using a wedge drift and they usually pop straight off, but one I am working on atm is being a you know what!!! Any tricks people use to get them off if they are being uncooperative?

Drill a hole through the Welch plug inside the joint and lever it out. You can then poke the wire clip to encourage it to enter the splines.
