Very nice. Subtle nod to the Japanese bits under the bonnet!

Tom at Enkelman. Before I started my project I asked what was required to get it engineered and Tim provided me a list of requirements to get it signed off.

No. It was not required. In saying that, i have the later Rover mini steering column which is kind of collapsable.

What are those seats from Dutchy? Seriously good looking interior there!

I can't remember what brand. Bought them from eBay and Had them recovered to match the existing interior.

There is a photo of the brackets he made on his website here:

Unfortunately my car is still on a hoist getting the alternator bracket modified so you must have seen another nice mini.

For those that followed this thread I thought I would update it with the latest change.

Alternator bracket failed a few times over the past 3yrs so I made a stronger one. That would not break.

Unfortunately the additional weight of the bracket along with the already heavy Honda alternator hanging out the side of the engine caused the bolts to come slightly lose which then sent a vibration through the car. Very annoying.

Back to the drawing table.
Smaller 60amp Denso alternator from a Daihatsu Cuore and some more welding.

Alternator bracket 3.0

Alternator cleaned. Bracket painted
