Hobbyco in the Queen Victoria Building in the center of Sydney , they are a bit limited in mini stock normally but they are the Oxford Diecast import agents so are worth checking . Used to be a big hobby shop opposite Miranda Fair as well but that's going back at least 10 years , no idea if it's still there .

There's Model Cars Too at 152 Clarence Street. (02) 9290 2299. That's where I bought all my models.

The guy there is really obliging. I usually just ring him up, ask him if he has a particular model. If the answer is yes, I give him my credit card number over the phone. Some little time later, as arranged, he's standing out front ready to hand me the model as I cruise past in the car and I don't have the hassle of looking and paying for parking. :D

On the opposite rd to this shop is a car book shop. The have so many books, on most models of cars. I spent a long time in there one day. I think I counted they had over 25 different books on minis on the shelves.

This is a short walk from the Queen Victoria Building, so you could do all three shops with only 5mins walking.

Thanks guys,

I checked out the Hobbyco store in the queen Vic, and model cars too, as well as the bookshop. :D

Got a couple of new boxed corgi's from Hobbyco (all less than 18 bucks each!) and one old dinky traveller from Model Cars Too.

So a successful model hunt.

Won't get enough time for the other shop, i'll be leaving at 7pm tomorrow night.

:D :D

Matt
