I battled with fitting new rubber boots to my indicators today. After much swearing I figured on this process. Figure out which way the bulb holder needs to go to screw in easily Fit the boot over the wires. Fit bulb holder Fit screws thru the holder and the boot. Fit chrome ring without lense Screw holder to car with the ring attached to the boot. Remove ring and fit lens Push lens into rubber and use a small non sharp tool to tease the rubber over the chrome ring. By screwing the holder onto the car with the chrome lens attached it flatens the rubber it to the correct postion when the lens is fitted. By doing the above it makes fitting the lens way easier. Good Luck Kiwiinwgtn |
