gday everyone

few questions i hope you can answer.

say if you are putting a non mini motor into your mini, with the sub frame, would you leave the standard mounting points for the top of the shock, and top and bottom control arms and caster rod? or would you have to fabricate all new points into the new sub frame. if so, how would you get everything in the right place again?

how would you get the motor sitting in dead straight in the sub frame?

Hope I asked the question in the right way, sorry if this has already been answered, please post the link!

many thanks, josh

but in regards to getting the motor sitting right, how would you go about that?

you need to take messurements front to back side to side then across from the back left to the front right and the back right to the front left so when you cut it to allow the motor to fit you dont lose the squar if you know what i mean

Post subject:  String line

On mine I'm using a string line to get the centre of the hubs and a B&D laser line to align the drive shafts, I've also measured the height level but this is harder to get but maybe not so critical it also depends on the wheel size and final ride height you want.

Measure, measure, remeasure, get confused, have a beer and start again.....
hehehehe
