Anybody got any ideas?
What size piping would need to be used?
Seal the boot from the cabin?
Any guesses on how to plumb fresh air to it?

hmmm. I would love to see how someone does it..

I would think getting the air in you would have to cut the boot floor. :? withthe fans sucking the air in.. then maby do a few 3in holes along the top of the boot lid with go fast mesh in them to vent back out..

i can see it in my head.. thats the important thing..

I think the base of the boot is folded down to act as a scoop, then small vents at the rear (whether this be holes in the boot lid or boot lid not closed fully, is to get the air back out.
I've seen pics somewhere.

Sounds like a great idea in the wet., you would have a boot full of water,

I know big willy has the right idea...

As far as I am aware.. they cut the boot floor away... (no scoop though)

Use big thermo fan on top side of radiator to draw air through...

& use a special bracket so you can lock boot cracked open...

what about a similar thing that gets done on twinnys you know there are large vents on the side of the car at the rear and you could mount the rads against the side of the car and the fan on the opposite
check out some pics of twin engined minis

Bill Westerman's Twinni has holes in the boot and the boot cracked open. OK so it's a racer not a road car..
I'd louvre the boot panel then leave it shut, for a road car....
Here's Bill's Twinni..

They are air intakes for the motor & radiator.

A track car would be no problem, a road car would be a bit different. Why make it a scoop when you could put it flat at the floor level and put the fans on the top surface of the radiator. A shroud could be put on the top surface with the fans in it. This should work really well. This way a seal could go around the opening which the radiator sits in and all the air would go through the core.
