I've measured the 12A rotary...

450mmx450mmx400mm - thats smaller than an a-series on its gearbox....

The gearbox will need some clearancing around the guard, but other than that, it should squeeze into the engine bay nicely.....

Never say it cant be done.... thats what about 500 people said to me about turbocharging a 998. . . . . . .

watch this space....
I'll need about 2 years of weekends (so, about 40 hours !) and some space... but it WILL happen :twisted:

a few weeks ago I got told about one that used to run at Winton - saying something can't be done just makes people try harder to do it :lol:

a clapped out 998cc clubman couldn't win Hays Heroes... 'eh Ryan?

Yeah I agree with Bara, that is almost verbatim what my engineer and a couple of others said to me when I raised the engine swap idea. Anything is possible if you have infinite money and infinite time. It is the ratio of the two that decides what's possible.

The Hume Brothers ran a quick sports sedan in the 80's. Had 13B mated to a mini transmission - Bloody quick car. Last time I saw it run was in a Super Mini series race at Winton 6 Dec 1987.

i think there is..cant recall ours is a cube now neway..
and the weight of it would be slightly more..not a whole lot but a fair bit more..
