Now I know this has probably been made before, but just as a general question, has anyone road registered a super fast converted V-tec mini?

Are you concerned about V-tec's only or any "super fast" mini engine conversion?

It would be worth listing where you're from Hobson since some legal requirements vary from state to state. So what might fly in SA might not work up here in Qld, or what have you.

Edit: I mention this because a Qld engineer I spoke to said that superfast minis kit increases the track, which could make it harder to get complianced.

Sorry been busy with work, I'm from NSW. I had just come accross the "super-fast" "kits" and was wondering if anyone had gotten one past in Aus.

In regards to the track width see email reply from Ben at super-fast

"Hi Nicholas,

I’m not sure of all of the requirements of AU, but I do know that my AU customers always have to keep the track width within 25mm of the original. We can accommodate that.

Thanks,
Benjamin Hudson

Perhaps consider a "allspeed" conversion kit - it maintains the standard mini tracking , suspension and steering.
