Have you thought about styling something like an early evo style front bar, with the big lights, big gaping intercooler. I think the lights need to be bigger in proportion to the rest 8)

For example ---

I reckon that would look tough

Hi Crew,

Sent the seat mounts off to the powdercoaters through the week and got them back on Friday - Caboolture Powder Coaters might be small, but they do exellent work.

Two seat mounts in satin black:

Just been playing a bit through the week and the rough styling is now more or less complete - like to know what you esteemed gents reckon.

Its not as wild as you all thought is it:

And here is a shot on dusk, imagine it driving out of the garage just prior to turning the lights on - is it mean or what??

Not much chance of pulling a 'sleeper' in that, is there.. that bonnet scoop and FMIC kinda give the game away ;)

Looks great, I do look forward to seeing the final product 8)

[edit] Out of interest, what's the plan with airflow past the FMIC? The front beaver panel seems like it'll be in the way a bit...

Can you go through what all the holes are? I assume the top ones are indicators, the 2nd small ones are parkers :? and obviously the FMIC and Spot lights are the middle ones.
Is looking very impressive :D Also if I'm right about the smaller holes will the lights be flush mounted or what?

Kenno,

Dont know if you can read the annotations on the picture - I thought if I used Paint it would come up alright.

Anyway, the top holes (directly under the headlights) are for the indicators, correct. They are landrover County 110 indicators, about 70mm round.

The next holes down are for the ram-air intake for the air-box. There is a seperate snout made up for this that goes on behind the spoiler and it fits either left or right (LHS for say Honda and RHS for Toyota etc). This will give forced pressurised and cold air to the airbox (ala most performance motorcycles etc)

The next holes along are for the 100mm driving lights obviously. The parkers are courtesy of blue angel eye in the headlights as well as in the driving lights (yep, 4 rings, two high, two low)

And of course the big sqaure aperture is for the FMIC.

Cheers,
Tricky
