I got an email back from Aussie Desert Cooler wrt teh Hotbox :

"The enclosing box is a 7 inch cube. The fan is up flush against the heater core and the inlet / outlet pipes suit standard heater hose."

you guys ought to stop using clubmans (or imported roundnose pommy shells built after 1971 - is that better Josh?).... use a pre ADR car and you don't need a heater/demister at all!

:P

Don't know about you, but I'd prefer to be able to see out of the windscreen on a cold morning and drive in warmth on a cold day/night. :D

Driving home late on a freezing, wet winter's night with the driver's window open so you can see is just part of the Mini experience..

Fark!!

Does that mean no longer imported, or no longer manufactured. Can you give Russell a call and ask him?

Josh,

Just sent a quick email to a guy I have corresponded with at DOTARS with regards to ADR 15 which has to do with the heater/demister and was it applicable on our modified vehicles.

The reply..................

Dear Mr Treloar.
Yes the demister is still required. See ADR 42/04 Clause 23 http://www.infrastructure.gov.au/roads/motor/design/adr_online.aspx
Regards
Ross Pettersson

Which of course we knew, but just needed it confirmed. So, onward and upward

Cheers,
Tricky

No mate, none of the bodywork, that's still to be done by the spray painter/panel beater.

Will and I are just fitting the body kit to the car.
