Thanks guys.

Now I have to think very carefully about my next step.

For those of you who are fascinated by this little debacle, I originally dropped the Mini off to the Spray Painter on Saturday 5th May!!

(Have you guys ever noticed I havent used the Spray Painters' company name, maybe I should name names so no-one else drops there cars off there?)

Angers gone, just replaced by despair and disappointment now! :(

Cheers,
Tricky

Amen brother. Just wish I didn't have to learn the hard way!

But the positive is, a lesson was well learnt!

Cheers,

Can I make a suggestion for all future panel and paint stuff people on Ausmini want to do.

When you're ready to take your project car to a panel&paint place, create a forum entry of the description "I'm Ready to Paint in <insert location here> - Recommendations - PM ONLY!" and then give other ausminier's some time to PM you with their recommendations (especially who NOT to go to).

That way, Poeee is covered as there's no public defamation on the site, and you know what you're getting in to.

I know it's a bit late for you Tricky (well, actually, not really)... But this might stop people getting burnt, there's too many of us on here..

There's no better feeling than building something with you own hands, and no worse a feeling than when someone else ruins it for you.

Thanks mate,

Thanks for the offer. I get afair bit of alloy work done on my cars to keep the weight in check, so that would be great.

Can I hit you up to do some fabrication work on customers cars as well?

Cheers,
Tricky

He is that and more Dan, I should have talked to him in the first place, but didnt want to 'burden a neighbor' if you know what I mean.

Alls well that ends well, and together we'll get the body kit on, and then decide how to move forward from there.

Cheers,
Tricky
