Well today i started a quick freshen up over my mini. It has been on the road for a year now and wanted to check everything over for stress fractures, cracking and rubbing.

Its also a good time to upgrade the clutch that is holding me back from more power and quicker times, the stock clutch is fine until you go over 150hp@wheels. I will also do timing belt at same time.

Another thing that has been buggin me is a little bit of play in the steering rack, so that will also be replaced with a new one.

The frame is fine, not a single problem, little bit of rubbing on the inlet manifold onto the edge of the firewall, but that will be fixed easy. So hopefully it will all back together in a week and ready for a few fast laps around wakefield park on the 17th :D

well it took me 2 hours to get it ready to pull out. That was take all wiring and cables of the motor, remove manifold and turbo, fuel lines, speedo, radiator etc.....then unbolt the 3 engine mounts.

Then all i did was undo one side ball joints and lifted it out, easy peasy :D The drivesahfts are easy on mine, just undo the clamp holding the boot on and the shafts just pull out.
