Well guys I have bit the bullet and decided to go the standard intercooler etc for the moment as it makes getting the thing on the road so much easier. Plus rego will be less of a problem. Once rego'd I will revisit the FMIC etc. EFI should be done this week so I will post some pics when done.

Well guys finally finished the exhaust and while probably not as neat as Dean's I am still fairly chuffed with my efforts. Anyway I have also dummy installed the fuel pump for the first time and should have this side of the fuel system knocked over tomorrow. So glad the exhaust is sorted was really slowing me down. I think I won't attemp and exhaust again (unless I get a hoist!)

No matic its the oxygen sensor, it is one the sensors the ECU uses to judge fuel mixture, v important. I possibly could have put it a bit further up the exhaust but its there now for good.

Mano are you refering to the nylocs? In qhich case I use them almost exclusively because you can pretty much do away with spring washers. And I don't want the exhaust dropping half way to Sydney...

Actually I just read your post again sorry (bit pissed!) umm no particular reason just what I bought thought they wouldn't undo as the bolt surface is toothed so they can't come undo too easy. Bad choice?????

Minstar,

If my exhaust is as half as good as that i'll be happy.

Top Job.

Thanks Daniel, like I said I am quite surprised at how well it turned out...Still I think it took me 6 weeks ultimately to sort out because of the complexity of the rear subframe. Ill put up a pic to let people know what I am talking about...

Sorry Dean, that probably doesn't make a lot of sense. The rear brace on the front subframe that holds the rear engine mount, well If I routed the 2.5" exhaust under it then I would have had clearance of a bout 2 inches from the ground which meant I probably wouldn't get rego. So I had to cut the rear subframe and then route the exhaust up over and sideway all in one go, a real pain but I got there.... Also installed my fuel pump yesterday and rest should go in tonight.
