Thanks Mate, why would the booster cause them to lock up easily also what is the pedal pressure like. :?: :D

well I guess without the booster you have more control on the point of lock up. I think that?s why allot of race cars don?t run boosters. but ill try it one of these days. I drove josh's car yesterday with the Honda?s and boosted felt really nice. :D

pedal pressure is hard. not spongy like the cooper S. basically its like your average new car to pull up.

My understanding is that the Booster is mandatory for conversions in NSW...

Brad had too in his car... & he has the 4-pot Ventelated Metro ones...

I will get my engineer to confirm... thanks

Same here. I wanted unboosted, but must have a booster as it was fitted as "an original safety item" with Subie disks.

The only way you can get away with fitting unboosted discs AFAIK
would be to use discs that were unboosted in their original application.

just plug up the vaccuum line. they'll never know

grind what?
I have m/c discs so that the caliper mount has about 2mm clearance to the hub. DO you mean grind the rear of the caliper mount to clear the hub?

I had to grind a tad off the outside of the calipers themselves to fit the Subies under my 14"s
