can you just use one high pressure fuel pump?
I have made an alloy tank for the rhs of my car, ive got a breather tube fitted to the top of both tanks then using one way valve connected to the pump and to the the two tanks..... make any sense? return line goes to the second tank, with the idea that the pump is in the standard location under the mini.
will it work?

i have a very similar setup. I have twin tanks, both feed into a fuel filter and then to a holden VL turbo pump. I have 1 return line going to the left hand tank.

What has happened is that the tanks are emptying together but only refilling the left hand tank and overflows when there is more the 1/2 a tank of fuel in each tank. The right hand tank ran dry and the left hand tank was overfull.

You will need to either split the return line to goto both tanks or have a big leveling hose, or have a surge tank that the return goes to. I will be doing the surge tank system.

Both tanks will feed the surge tank then goto the pump, return will go back to surge tank.

How come you are going to a surge tank set up Brad?

Where is the return line in that pic?

basically as i dont want to add a return to the right hand tank, surge tanks helps with the G forces im getting :D

The return is not in that pic yet i dont think, I too just used the original mini line for return, it goes into the left hand tank through the fuel level sender, tank has not been touched and sender still works.
